How does escrow work for freelancers?
When a client pays for your service, their money is held securely by Siiqo. Once the project is delivered and the client confirms, the funds are released to your account. If there's a dispute, Siiqo mediates — protecting both parties.
What types of freelancers can use Siiqo?
Any service provider — designers, writers, photographers, developers, consultants, makeup artists, tutors, tailors, and more. If you offer a service, you can sell it on Siiqo.
Can I accept payments from clients abroad?
Yes. Siiqo supports native crypto payments (USDC, Bitcoin, stablecoins) for international clients, plus standard Naira transfers for Nigerian clients — all from the same storefront.
Is Siiqo free for freelancers?
Yes — the Starter plan is completely free. Siiqo charges an 8% escrow fee per completed transaction, split equally: 4% paid by the client (buyer) and 4% paid by you (the freelancer). Crypto payments are coming soon. No monthly subscription required.
