For buyers
How does Safe Pay protect my payment?
For physical orders, your payment is held until you confirm delivery. Digital products, services and event tickets are paid to the seller when you pay, so they aren't held.
What if something goes wrong with my order?
Open the order and choose "Report a problem". The payment stays on hold while you and the seller add evidence, and a person at Siiqo decides.
How do refunds work?
Refunds come out of a dispute. If the decision is a refund, a person at Siiqo sends it back to you and records it. Refunds aren't automatic.
Do I pay a fee?
Siiqo's 3% fee is paid by the seller. Your card or bank may add its own processing fee.
How do I check a seller before I pay?
Paste their phone number, @handle, store link or Pay Link at siiqo.com/check. You'll see what Siiqo has verified and the trust they've earned from real orders. It isn't a promise, so pay through Siiqo.
What does "Unclaimed" mean?
The business is in the Siiqo directory but hasn't claimed its listing. It has no trust record on Siiqo yet. That doesn't mean anything good or bad about it.
What does "Verified" mean?
The owner passed Siiqo's identity check. A trust score is separate: it's earned from orders, delivery and reviews, and can't be bought.
For sellers
What does Siiqo cost?
It's free to start. Siiqo takes 3% of each completed sale. On a ₦10,000 sale you receive ₦9,700. Delivery isn't charged.
How do I get paid?
Paystack, Flutterwave or Daya pays you directly into your bank account. There's no Siiqo wallet, so there's nothing to withdraw.
When is a physical order paid out?
Safe Pay holds the payment until the buyer confirms delivery, then it's released to your bank. Digital products, services and tickets are paid out when the buyer pays.
What is Verified Pro?
Verified Pro costs ₦1,999 a month or ₦19,990 a year. Unlimited products, invoices and customer CRM unlock when you pay. The Verified mark and Pay on Delivery need an identity check, which opens soon.
Can I pay for a better trust score?
No. Your trust score is earned from completed orders, delivery and reviews. Verified Pro never adds points.
What happens if a buyer reports a problem?
The payment stays on hold while you and the buyer add evidence. A person at Siiqo decides. If a refund is decided, Siiqo sends it to the buyer and records it.
My business is listed but I never signed up. What can I do?
Check your business at siiqo.com/check. From the listing you can claim it by proving you own it, or ask for it to be removed.
