How the Community Feed Works
For vendors wanting free organic visibility without paid ads.
Think of the Community Feed as a digital Balogun Market or Wuse Market — but searchable, organised, and open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Every product you publish automatically appears in it. No ad spend needed.
What appears in the Community Feed?
- New product drops — automatically posted when you publish a new product.
- Restocks — when you update stock on a previously sold-out item.
- Vendor milestones — e.g., "100 orders completed" builds crucial social proof with buyers.
- B2B questions & advice — other SMEs asking for wholesale suppliers, business tips, and referrals.
Strategic tips to maximise your visibility
1. Post during peak hours
Publish new products during high-traffic windows: 7–9 AM (morning commute browsing) and 7–10 PM (evening relaxed browsing).
2. Use specific, local language
"Fresh party Jollof by the tray — Lekki pickup available today" performs much better than generic terms like "Jollof Rice".
3. Update your stock regularly
Even a +10 unit restock triggers a new feed announcement, reviving an old product without creating a duplicate listing.
Treat the feed like your WhatsApp status: Vendors who publish consistently — 3 to 5 product updates per week — build a local following on Siiqo faster than those who post once and disappear. Consistency beats perfection.
